On this week's edition of the award-winning program "The Jazz Place," Jorge Miyares pays tribute to the recently deceased outstanding Cuban musician, Jose Luis Cortes. Known as "El Tosco," he was one of the most acknowledged and prolific instrumentalists and arrangers of his generation and was critically acclaimed nationally and internationally. In our second hour, Abel Vasquez brings us his sports program on soccer called "Corner Taken Quickly." And, we have our weekly program "Music with a Message" -- with the music and message of U.S. singer/songwriter Richie Havens.
