"CUBA TODAY" Cuba's next sugar harvest will begin in mid-November with the added purpose of revitalizing this industry, once the most important of this country… The last harvest was the worst one in years, that’s why the Cuban government authorities are stressing how important this one is: it must be done efficiently and effectively… It is not easy as preparing for a sugar harvest costs money, requires technology, and electricity… There is a shortage of all of that, and that’s why this process demands so much from those doing it…
