The developing South of the world migrate to the wealthy North here and there… Happens everywhere, and it has happened for centuries… In Cuba migration is also part of our reality, not more than in Mexico, or other neighboring countries… In Central America entire families run away from war, drug lords, and violence… Also, trying to find a way of making a living, because they have been stripped from their natural resources, many times because the local governments give them to multinationals… Cuba is a different story, not war, but the combined economic crisis, with the effect of the sanctions, domestic mistakes in the economy policies, and the fact that Cuba is a developing country, with many, many challenges because is at war with the most powerful country of the world… Migration is an unavoidable consequence of this grim scenario… The United States, in its purpose of toppling the Cuban government, has used the key to its borders as a political tool, where human beings are simple pawns…
