President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Saturday celebrated six decades of relations between Cuba and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), a relationship that he described as dignified and sovereign. On his Twitter account, the head of State recalled the 60 years of diplomatic relations, and recalled his visits to North Korea. 'Friendly peoples united for a common cause. I keep fond memories of the affection of the Korean people towards #Cuba in the visits paid to that beautiful country,' the president wrote.
