We bring you some comments by participants in the 18th edition of a special forum on Cuba and U.S. foreign policy, which got underway Monday morning here in Havana at the Higher Institute of Foreign Relations. Among those taking part in the conversations between Cuban and U.S. participants were Dr Benjamin Chavis, the former executive director of the NAACP and long-time political activist and Carlos Fernandez de Cossío, the director general of the U.S. desk at the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
