I grew up in the 90s and blackouts were part of our everyday life… Although many people thought those days would stay in the past, now Cuba is facing an acute energy crisis… Blackouts are back, and so is the discontent of having to sleep without a fan, or the discomfort of families that depend on electricity to cook… There are many reasons for this crisis, and although there is a strategy to promote the use of renewable sources with the purpose of radically transforming the country’s electric grid......Hi, this is Cuba today.
