Cuba is coming back to life… The Havana Biennial has started… This is the most important visual arts event of the country… Artists from all over the world and from every corner of the Island display their work in public spaces and galleries, and the capital becomes an open air museum… Also, the second part of the Havana Film Festival, or International Festival of New Latin American Cinema is taking place, as it was a limited edition last year because of the pandemic… This is all great news… But let´s put these events in context so you can understand how great they are… Right wing organizations, and the American government are working hard to isolate Cuba and asking everyone to reject any government sponsored action.
