This weekend the demand to end the US sanctions against Cuba was heard in 50 cities of the world, including a few in the United States… In Havana, hundreds of Cubans took part in a caravan of cars, scooters and bikes… The purpose was to create noise around a long-standing injustice that has only gotten worse… The US sanctions against the Island were heavily reinforced by the Trump administration, even in times when tackling the pandemic should be the priority, and unilateral sanctions should be lifted… Cuban flags waved in many parts of the world with one demand for Joe Biden’s administration: end the blockade against Cuba, end it now.
