When the Cuban flag waved in a sunny Washington day in the re-opened Cuban embassy, in 2015, and a few weeks later the American flag was hoisted in Havana facing the Caribbean sea, I, that covered both events, thought that the historic process of encounter between the two government was being carved in stone… Boy, was I wrong… After years of blaming Cuba for the symptoms suffered by a group of diplomats, after naming the unknown condition as Havana syndrome, after keeping the US embassy in Havana understaffed and basically closed… Now, the CIA has said that, you know what, we have looked into it, very closely, and no, it doesn’t seem that a foreign government inflicted this in our diplomats… Hi, this is Cuba today.
