Both Catherin Lopez and Jorge Miyares pay a special tribute to Harry Belafonte on this 95th birthday. Long before the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, Harry Belafonte was well known here and his music was greatly appreciated on the Caribbean island where he would come to perform. After 1959, this charismatic artist also became an admirer of the Revolution and a friend of the Cuban people and its historic leader, Fidel Castro. Harry Belafonte, a U.S. icon, is turning 95-years-old this March 1st and Jorge Miyares presents a special program. Mike Hudson rolls out his weekly program "Connecting the Dots."
