National and International news, with an update of COVID-19 epidemic in Cuba and around the world.Cuban medical brigades have responded to requests by many countries around the world to send health care workers -- doctors, nurses, specialists -- to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, a total of 25 brigades have been sent to more than 20 countries, to Europe, where a brigade arrived in Italy almost as soon as the outbreak of the coronavirus began to take its toll, to Latin America, to Africa... and the Caribbean. Here in the Caribbean, a medical brigade is working on our sister island-nation of Jamaica. We have an interesting testimony of a Jamaican patient who is being treated by Cuban doctors. He asked to express his appreciation for Cuba's medical help and the care he has personally been receiving.
