National and International news, with an update of COVID-19 epidemic in Cuba and around the world. As many of our listeners know, Cuba has sent over 200 medical professionals to our sister African nation of South Africa, to help in the fight against COVID-19. We'd like to bring you now the comments by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, talking about the importance of Cuban solidarity at this time of the pandemic sweeping the world. The General Secretary of the South African Communist Party and Minister of Superior Education, Blade Nzimande, also spoke about Cuba's solidarity gesture with South Africa and its importance at this very critical time. We want to especially thank Cuba's ambassador to South Africa and all of the comrades at our Embassy in South Africa for their assistance in making these comments available for our listeners on Radio Havana Cuba.
